I’m back home now and had a great cruise on Vision of the Seas, which was a super birthday present to myself. Thank you to all of the crew and guests that I met. And thank you to everyone who viewed the small pieces that I posted of this great adventure.
My next trip will be here before long (November 28). I have made changes to this site, which should allow you to make comments without having to fill out a bunch of information. I hope everyone will try it out and let me know if it works well.
You may have noticed that I have added a Videos page under the Menu. This is where you can access some past videos I shot from some of my prior trips. I am also planning to embed some videos like the one below (of when I departed Sydney, Australia on April 22, 2018) during my upcoming cruise, especially those that I take when the ship passes through the Panama Canal.
I look forward to reading all of your comments and feedback.
This is one of my favorite photos from my TransAtlantic cruise. I’m pictured with my Chops Grille waiter, Rashan, from India. During four of my five visits to Chops during the cruise, I had the pleasure of being served by Rashan.
If you have an opportunity to dine in Chops Grille on Vision of the Seas, you may see Rashan. If you do, tell him that I said hi.
Last night the singers and dancers onboard Royal Caribbean’s Vision of the Seas entertained a packed audience performing Boogie Wonderland in the Masquerade Theater for their final time together. These young men and women are ending their current contract with Royal Caribbean as some will be reassigned to other ships while others will go home and await a future contract offer.
They did a wonderful job of singing and dancing to many disco era songs, as well as some of the greatest hits of Abba.
Soon I will departing Vision of the Seas to spend my first time in Nassau. I’ve heard different things about Nassau, so I will find out through first hand experience what it is really like. Hoping to get some photos posted possibly later today.
Even Vision of the Seas’ Windjammer has been decorated for Halloween. Who would have thought a cruise ship would carve up some pumpkins.
